Joris at Le Mans - You’d think he’d look more tired!

Joris at Le Mans - You’d think he’d look more tired!

Saturday 27th March 2021 saw the third in the series of 14 Everestings planned for this year - each in a different region of France.

This time it was off to Le Mans to the Wilbur-Wright tunnel. Finished almost 150 years ago in 1877, the 143 stairs have been climbed thousands and thousands of times, but 295 times? On one day? By one person? Enter Joris #8849!!

The challenge started at 7am and unlike the famous Le Mans 24 hour race, Joris needed to get this done before nightfall and boy did he do that!

Joris finished the 295 reps at 4:21pm, clocking an unbelievable time of just 9h:21mins to make this the fastest unassisted Everesting on the stairs we’ve ever heard of!

Again this was all in support of the Goustave-Roussy Foundation
